The S-boom telescopic booms made by Genie have been equipped with an ability to work in heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a reach ranging from 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Telescoping booms have a much greater range of reach horizontally as opposed to other aerial work platforms. Genie telescopic booms are engineered with consideration to being able to access confined places during industrial and construction applications. They are also known for their ability to quickly maneuver through a job site with great traction and drive speed. The platform hydraulically turns 160° and could stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for operators and tools and are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters. 360° continuous rotating turntables provide operators quick, easy positioning.
The Z-135/70 model comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, that is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This particular model could also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach jobs that were inaccessible by traditional jibs before. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 model gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This specific feature enables up and over reaching tasks to be done with zero front arm swing.
Genie also offers the Fast Mast system which allows for precious time to be saved when both secondary and primary booms have to be lifted or for lowering the platform without having to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system allows both booms to be elevated fully simultaneously. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features lessens the time needed for users to descend and ascend, increasing production and efficiency.
