Heavy Forklifts
Hyundai is aiming for a new customer base with their new array of heavy forklift trucks. Various industries, from the concrete and natural stone industries, to the steel business, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all relying on and working with heavy duty machines. The power and efficiency offered by the units keep cost of operation low and offer the best conditions for economical work. These equipment could excel in the nearly all tough environments.
Providing the needed power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine varies from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with the 6 cylinder engines. These models can take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It has the ability to climb on rough terrain and steep slopes and also offers great acceleration.
The operator could utilize a switch in order to choose 1 of 2 driving modes. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or tough terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks are able to save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Moreover, just by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving feature. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machinery easy to maneuver and comfortable to use.
A comfortable and spacious working place is offered by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful heating and air conditioning system helps ensure the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was designed ergonomically to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, in addition to the overall safety of the unit. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on providing the nice atmosphere that Hyundai equipment are supposed to have.
