Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts offer height and versatility. These models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to raise the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular forklifts could not move the cargo away from and towards the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually used in agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck will normally utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant particularly to hoist workers. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a chain or strap that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
