Lull Telehandlers
Ever since the year 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your needs, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been engineered and developed in order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to place materials in a more accurate manner. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and are able to reach up and over structures so as to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being engineered and developed all the time and would debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
