End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is an extremely flexible machine and is well known in the material handling industry. These machines have superior performance characteristics which are quite similar to sit-down electric forklift units.
These lift truck units are ideal for warehouse environments which have limited space. The space required to operate these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These machines are an excellent alternative for applications that need regular on and off access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
Lots of companies used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading equipments can arrange finished products on pallets and materials to be stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great alternative for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in a way which is safe and efficient.
The basic reach truck model is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines which move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades also have a hydraulic setup that allows the driver to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This design not just gives more balance to the overall load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
After the reach truck finds the shelves which are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
